Our map, designed without a frame, consists of 3 layers. Transparent epoxy is applied to the colored birch wood in the bottom water layer. This way you can see the moiré of the wood in the epoxy. This gives the map a characteristic quality. We also have an opaque blue epoxy option. On top of the water layer is a colored birch terrain layer. On the top layer is a street and alley layer made of natural birch wood.
